Beryl Ore · Beryllium Copper Alloy
Beryllium & Applications
Beryl ore at 10–12% BeO is converted to beryllium hydroxide and onward to beryllium copper master alloys (typically 1.6–2.0% Be for high-strength grades) or to pure beryllium for aerospace components. The downstream is narrow but unforgiving on impurities. End-use concentrates in aerospace, defense, and high-reliability electrical connectors. We coordinate with qualified mills for application-specific grades.
Applications
- Aerospace connectors & springs
- Defense electronics
- Oil & gas downhole tools
- High-reliability electrical contacts
- Telecom precision components
