Tungsten & Wolframite Concentrate

Roughly 70% of global tungsten demand sits in cemented carbide for cutting tools, mining bits, and wear parts. Wolframite and scheelite concentrates feed two refining pathways: APT (ammonium paratungstate) for the carbide route, and ferrotungsten for the steel route. China refines about 80% of global output, which is why secondary sources in Southern Africa are watched closely by Western buyers.
